Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th, 1962) is an American actress. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). Then She joined the Bratpack band and made appearances on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead in her character in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for more than twenty years. In the early 80s, she began her career as a film actress with the action film Bad Boys. She was very well-received in this film. In the film, which was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown as well as Alan Ruck also appeared. She appeared as a character in The Breakfast Club in 1985 which was a comedic drama which followed her first success. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one of the best high school films ever made. Even though the budget was $1 million, its profits surpassed 50 million dollars. Between then the actress began appearing in different TV shows like CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. It was a show for teenagers and started in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues were some other shows on television that featured her in. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero where Sheedy is an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy's amazing performances have won her numerous awards including the MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
